Synopsis:
Accused of cheating and desperate to prove his innocence, an eighteen-year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai reflects back on his tumultuous life while competing to win 20 million rupees on India’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in Danny Boyle’s inspirational drama. Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) may not have a penny to his name, but that could all change in a matter of hours. He’s one question away from taking the top prize on India’s most popular television game show, but as with everything else in Jamal’s life, it isn’t going to be easy. Arrested by police under suspicion of cheating, Jamal is interrogated by the authorities.

Muhahaha! This is one Halloween Party to die for!
On Saturday October 31 Limes Hotel is holding a Halloween event inspired by Michael Jackson’s 1983 Thriller music video, coined as the Greatest Music Video of all time.
You can expect special guest Dj’s, zombie dancers blending in with the scenery, spooky cocktail conconctions and other tricks and treats throughout the night.
The most spooktacular costume on the night wins 2 nights accommodation at Limes Hotel for two + a scary basket by Belvadere Black Passions Rasberry Vodka, valued at over $600.
CLICK HERE to enter the costume competition, the winner will be contacted and announced on Oct 29, prize will be given on arrival at the party on Oct 31, and you will be announced to the crowd! There will also be honorable mentions with prizes on the night.
A few ideas are: Sexy Vampires (they are so “in” at the moment”), zombies, mummies, ghosts, witches…gollum (haha). Bar opens at 3pm, there will be a cover charge of $10 after 8pm.

The September High Heels Society was a rip-roaring success with over a hundred ladies putting their best foot forward with their own fabulous shoes! Some ladies even had a second option stashed away in their oversized handbags and debated which shoes to wear on arrival.
Limes served mini-cosmos, bubbly and a selection of canapes for our guests enjoyment.
Guest Judge Julie Sutherland and her team from Jules and Roc had an incredibly hard choice to make from the divine selection of delicious shoes, so Julie chose a 1st prize winner – $200 voucher for Jules and Roc, a 2nd prize winner with the $200 voucher for Princess Chic and 3rd prize winner with a $100 voucher for Jules and Roc. Julie also gave away 3 other honorable mentions which received life time 10% off VIP cards to her store!
Limes also gave away a lucky RSVP prize of a nights accommodation at Limes Hotel valued at $250 and a $25 to spend while at the Hotel! Not bad at all for just sending through their RSVP..
